Camping: a means of communication between humans and Mother Nature. To be part of the flora and fauna, to feel the morning mist clinging on to your skin; it is the greatest escape possible from all the daily stress and fatigue. Getting out of your tent at noon or in the eve to a wonderful sunset with your loved ones isn’t the best part of camping. Night time brings out the unseen beauty of Nature. Moreover, night camping is a completely different experience compared to what we see in the day.
While campfire and stargazing add wonders tonight camping in the hills, adventure enthusiasts don’t want to settle for less. More importantly, the non-existing nightlife has compelled most people to stay up late at night and enjoy the calmness under a trickling bonfire. The intriguing night time along with a huge pan of noodles and a bunch of Coldplay songs is a really refreshing experience.
Night camping is also a perfect treat for those who are looking for a breather from the monotonous life. Such trips get you close to nature and disconnect from the hustle and bustle of the city, feels a banker Vicky Pandit adds, “Over the weekends, I mostly stay at home. But recently I went for a night camping in Melghat which made me realize how important it is for us to connect with our surroundings and disconnect ourselves from the internet and phones. We had a rollicking time cooking and singing songs. Each one of us contributed just Rs 1500 for this two-day trip which is quite affordable.”
If there were no night, we would not appreciate the day, nor could we see the stars and the vastness of the heavens. We must partake of the bitter with the sweet. There is a divine purpose in the adversities we encounter every day. They prepare, they purge, they purify, and thus they bless.
